WELCOME TO THE LOUISVILLE CHAPTER
The Louisville Chapter Kentucky Medical Group Management Association, or LCKMGMA, provides a forum for the exchange of ideas among health care professionals and educational programs geared to enhancing the understanding of medical group management.
Our monthly meetings are on the 3rd Wednesday of each month -with the exception of March, September, and December. All meetings are held at Hurstbourne Country Club 9000 Hurstbourne Club Lane Louisville, KY. Directions are available below.
The following notice was sent to all members of the Louisville Chapter KMGMA on August 31, 2018:
Dear Members and Business Associates,
After much discussion and deliberation, it is with great sadness that we announce the closure of the Louisville Chapter KMGMA. The closure will occur in conjunction with the end of this fiscal year, which is October 31, 2018.
As many of you know, the Chapter has experienced declining membership and meeting attendance over the last several years, largely due to the changing landscape of healthcare. We feel we are no longer able to meet our commitment to our members and business associates due to financial unsustainability.
Formed in 1991, our once long-thriving Chapter, has provided educational and networking opportunities to many healthcare professionals and associates in the Louisville area. In addition, many friendships and life-long contacts have been procured.
We hope that you will join us on October 17th for our final meeting. In addition, information will be forthcoming about a Membership Appreciation Event to be held the evening of October 25th.
Thank you for support of the Chapter.

“Outsmarting Invisible Mind Blocks: How to Out-Think Your Hidden Barriers to Perform at Your Mental Best”
Speaker & Mental Performance Expert
Steve Haffner is a professional speaker and mentalist. Prior to launching his speaking and entertainment business, Steve survived a 30 year career in the corporate IT world as a programmer, systems engineer, project manager and business analyst. He worked for companies such as EDS, William M Mercer, and Humana building software solutions to business problems.
As a mentalist, he studies how the primitive “lizard brain” has hidden effects on our thinking, decision making, behavior and outlook. Steve pulls from his own experiences in both corporate management and entertainment, as well as research in the fields of psychology, neuroscience and behavioral economics.
In his keynote programs, Steve uses entertaining segments of psychological illusion to highlight key points, making the program not only educational, but entertainingly engaging as well.
